Non-Allowables

Anything under pressure - Items like aerosol cans and
propane tanks can explode in the high temperatures in the back
of the trucks.

Cleaners - Items like bleaches and soaps spill very easily and
when they do, they can cause permanent damage to your
furniture.

Anything flammable - Items like matches and fireworks could
accidentally ignite given the right circumstances.

Unpacked electronics - With the exception of electronics like
TV's that are too large to box, Shamrock cannot transport these
fragile items without the proper boxing. This includes computers,
stereos, DVD players, and other such items

Unpacked glass - Items like paintings, glass table tops, or
mirrors need to be packed safely in order to be transported. We
cannot move these items unpacked unless you sign a liability
waiver.

Unpacked lampshades - Lampshades are easily torn when
they aren't packed. Given their hard to replace nature, it is
essential to pack them prior to transport.

Washers and dryers that are still hooked up - To protect
against plumbing mishaps we don't move washers and dryers that
have not been disconnected. Please make arrangements to
have them disconnected prior to moving day.

Refrigerators with ice makers - We cannot disconnect a
refrigerator that has the plumbing associated with ice makers.
Please make sure to have a plumber take care of this prior to
moving day.
